In 1955 a committee of business and political leaders formed a St. Patrick's Day Observance Society. By 1958, the parade was large enough to run from 12th & Hamilton to the Immaculate Conception Church on Ridge Ave. Brian and Kate Johnson are honored and excited to serve as King & Queen of the 61st Annual Allentown St. Patrick's Day Parade. They both grew up in Allentown; Kate in the 6th Ward and Brian in the Hamilton Park area. Kate's family has deep roots in the parade.
